Contests

During the calendar year, a number of club members participate in the various Radio contests. If you do not have a radio in your home, you might consider using the club radio room during open hours.
For many years, the club has participated in the ARRL Field Day, where operators around the US and Canada exchange information  - including their location, call signs, the number of radios being used at their location and the source of power for their radios - during a 24 hour period.  For a small club in Southeast Arizona, we have done fairly well.

Check out our results.
