Green Valley Amateur Radio Club HamFest will be held on March 8, 2025, at Valley Presbyterian Church in Green Valley 2800 S Camino Del Sol, Green Valley, AZ 85622 from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Set up from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. cleanup to be completed by 1:00 p.m. The Church will provide a food concession.
Talk In on 145.29 repeater. The event frequency will be 146.55 MHz simplex. Free admission to the public. Everyone is welcome especially HAMs, GMRS, CB and SWL operators. Bring your handheld programmed to 146.55 Simplex for announcements and requests.
Each seller booth will consist of two end to end open (uncovered) parking spaces for a $5 contribution going to the Church. This is strictly a BYOT&C&C event (Bring Your Own Table & Chairs & Canopies) event. Seller booths will be assigned on a first come first served basis at the GVARC club booth.
There are some booth spaces under the solar panels that are reserved for the Food Concession, Radio related groups not selling items including ARCA, ARRL, AMSAT, SWCRS (GMRS) etc. Contact KL7CY at his QRZ eMail to arrange for a club or organization table.
There will be a consignment table where members will be able to drop off up to 3 items no commission. Anyone dropping off a consignment item is expected to help at the consignment booth for an hour or so.
This is our second Hamfest - Swap Meet - Tailgate so there will not be any vendors, dealers, auction, door prizes, testing session or speaker. Come check us out and help us make this a success so we can do more next year.
Volunteers are need for the GVARC Club Booth, Parking, Consignment Booth and Country Store Booth.
