Geocaching at Continental School
Members of the Green Valley Amateur Radio Club conduct an ongoing afterschool program for students at Continental School.
Students learn basic elecricity, soldering, construction techniques and Radio Theory.
Besides working with a number of small kits, they can earn their Amateur Radio license, learn to fly a radio control airplane and build their own robot and compete against other schools in robotics competition.
This year, Lloyd Milller (N7GV) taught some of the Continental school kids about geocaching and March 1st he organized them to go out and hunt some caches.
