Once again, our Field Day operations were held at the Green Valley Fire District Headquarters Building at S. Camino del Sol and Camino Encanto.
They have air conditioning, a kitchen, toilet facilities, and we can go home to sleep in our own beds if we choose.
We will however, use battery and solar power to operate the radios.
Bill Hooper, K6WWH, and Jack McGowan, AD7NK, provided a new power cart that holds the batteries and distribution panel.
Friday June 13th, a few members practiced for the planned fox hunt.
Setup began at 4 p.m. on Friday, June 26. We were done by dark! And celebrated with dinner.

And of course we had a potluck on Saturday, shortly after the event began.
Competition began at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 27th.
And finished up at 11:00 a.m on Sunday, June 29th
During the event we had 47 operators and other participants sign in, as compared to 45 last year and 42, the year before.
