Our mission was clear...
Field Day is finally upon us!
The first task will be to set everything up tonight, or at least set up as much as we can.
There are antennas to assemble and raise, batteries, solar panels, and cables to put in place, equipment to check out, supplies to distribute, etc., etc. Hence, we need lots of help.
We plan be at the Fire District Headquarters by about 4:00 p.m. to discuss and assign tasks. Food will be there by 5:00 p.m., so we can eat and then work, or do it the other way around if that is your preference. Actual set up will begin about 6:00 p.m.
In the event of rain (last night's rain took out our Internet connection) we'll do the best we can.
Of course, our prime concern is safety. We will have water available, so please make sure you stay hydrated.
One more thing -- Please bring your digital camera if you have one. We have someone to be our official photographer, but he can't be everywhere at once.
See you tonight (and tomorrow and Sunday)!!

At the end of the contest, Dick (W7KAM) Posted our results.
And of course, there are lessons learned for next year.
