What a beautiful day we had to venture up to the Mt. Whipple Observatory with Ken Van Horn as our wonderful guide!

We filled the bus with hams and a few friends. The Hathaways came with their signature piece of chocolate chip cookies and shared with all in the pine setting picnic grounds.

We learned new and interesting facts about the observatory and the history of the mountains. I for one am looking forward to this again next year - probably without Daniel our 2 1/2 yr old grandson by our side. All were so loving and kind to him -- thank you all.
